I’m really excited to announce that San Jose Taiko will be performing here in Austin on September 27th at 7pm at the Long Center for the Performing Arts. I first experienced Taiko drummers when I lived in Atlanta and attended the annual Japanfest there. Tickets just went on sale today, so buy them quickly!
Also, don’t forget about the Tsugaru Shamisen Concert with Toshie Suzuki on Wednesday, September 16th at 7pm at Casa de Luz. We’re fortunate to have these events available to us, so let’s do what we can to support them when they occur.
