Jesse is a Virgo but finds that he has grown into those traits as he’s gotten older. He was born premature and blames his tiny thumbs and relatively short toes on this fact. He enjoys spending time alone with other people and long walks on the beach – minus the walking and other people parts. He loves sharing music with others, especially with his neighbors while he’s doing yardwork. Consequently, they have become huge fans of death metal and Norwegian black metal, whether willingly or not.
Keith Goode
Co-Host
Keith is a Scorpio. He likes long walks on short piers and ugly-crying at sappy anime. A genuine Star Wars kid from 1977 to present, he has successfully corrected inaccurate social media posts about this fictional universe at least 57 times. His obsession with sleep could indicate that this is all just a dream and this is a fictional universe as well. Cue the “Inception” soundtrack. Who are your guests?
We love talking to anyone who has embraced a passion in their lives and then is either able to translate that passion into a great career or to use that passion to enhance their daily grind. Initially, we’ve been talking to our own industry friends, but this is not an exclusive field of view.
Why are you doing this podcast?
Jesse and Keith have had the opportunity to spend some quality time with our industry peers, chatting about life outside of work. And what we’ve discovered is that there are some really great people out there being their best selves in both their career and their hobbies. We want to share some of these passions with the world, so everyone can find a place to belong.
Is this show only about anime or Star Wars?
Not at all. Hobbies and side-passions are various and sundry, and we want to hear about them all … well, the legal ones, at least. And for us, it’s not just the hobbies we’re interested in. We want to know how they’ve influenced your lives and enhanced existence.
Is the rating for the podcast G, PG, PG-13, R, or NC-17?
We suspect there will be adult language involved in this podcast, so let’s go for a strong PG-13 rating for now and revise if we need to.
Is there anything you won't cover?
We’re not prudes by any stretch of the imagination, but we’re not interested in any illegal activity, abusive activity, or activities that occur at the expense of others. We also will steer clear of political discussions (mostly). In the current climate, it’s just too divisive a topic, and what we’re aiming for is unity and understanding.
